THE STORY OF THE DANCING FROG

A mother tells her young daughter a curious story from their family history: Great-Aunt Gertrude, soon after being widowed, is prevented from drowning herself by the sight of a frog dancing on a lily pad. Gertrude and the frog (a talented amphibian she names George) achieve fame and success as they travel the world, before eventually retiring to the south of France, never to be seen or heard from again.
